Paul is winning his battle with Down syndrome by celebrating his 50th birthday. It was definitely one of my highlights as a photographer to document this milestone surrounded with the love and support of his family and friends. Behind these happy and joyful moments lies the biggest blackout of the century. But nothing was going to stop Lauren from marrying her best friend because of their family and friends. With backup generators, candle-lit tables, and cell phones to light the way; the celebration carried on to become a wedding to remember.
